IGN’s Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War wiki guide and walkthrough contains information on everything you’ll need to finish the game, and a whole lot more.
This page includes descriptions of every major Choice in the game, as well as where you can make them, and how they influence the ending.
SPOILER WARNING: This page includes spoilers for the last six missions of the game.
There are two major choices in the game, so read on to determine which decision you want to make, when the time comes.
At the end of End of the Line, Bell will strap in to the rescue line for pickup, before the team is hit with an RPG.
The explosion knocks both Lazar and Park out of reach, and both are injured enough that they can’t reach the line, themselves.
Moreover, Bell only has enough time to save one before the lift arrives.
Whomever Bell doesn’t save will die in Cuba.
The surviving team member will accompany Bell on subsequent missions, be a voice he hears during Interrogation and Break on Through, be a teammate during the raid in The Final Countdown, and potentially have to face off against in Ashes to Ashes.
At the end of Identity Crisis, Adler will ask Bell where Perseus is. You’ll have the opportunity to tell him the truth, that the base is in Solovetsky, or a lie, that the base is in Duga.
An additional wrinkle comes in the moments after the choice, if you choose to lie to Adler.
Stepping back into the locked section of the Safehouse, you can use the radio to communicate with Perseus’ forces and coordinate an ambush for Adler and his team, once they reach Duga.
This is the big one. This decision will determine which final mission you play. If you choose to tell the truth, your final mission will be The Final Countdown, and your goal will be to stop Perseus before Project Greenlight can be activated.
If you choose to lie to Adler and set up an ambush via the radio in the locked section of the Safehouse, your final mission will be Ashes to Ashes, and your goal will be to eliminate Adler and his team, activating Project Greenlight.
