is now available on Steam Early Access, and it includes 4 playable classes, 2 complete Acts, dozens of quests, a player-created custom Fort feature, over 100 Legendary items, and much more.Torchlight 3 is currently $29.99 USD, but doesn’t currently have an official release date. However, developer Echtra Inc. has said this Early Access phase will last “at least a few months while we refine the game further and add new features and end game content.”
The full version will contain a complete Act 3, a new, not-yet-announced end game experience, and the ability to play Torchlight 3 in Single Player mode, which will not require an internet connection.
Torchlight 2 was released in 2012 and, in our review, we said “Torchlight II doesn’t do anything radically new, but does everything incredibly well. It fits all the pieces of varied monster behavior, interesting items, excellent skill design and random surprises together into a near-perfect formula, where the action never stops and rewards are never far away.”
