This page is part of IGN’s Cyberpunk 2077 Wiki guide and details everything you need to say to Johnny in the Oil Fields during the Chippin’ In Side Job in order to unlock the Secret Ending in Cyberpunk 2077.
What to Say to Johnny in the Oil Fields
During the major Side Job, Chippin’ In, you’ll go looking for Johnny’s grave at an Oil Field that’s located just on the outskirts of Night City, in the Badlands.
Despite all of the nifty rewards, you’ll get for completing this mission – Johnny’s gun, his Porsche 911, and a replica of Johnny’s Samurai Jacket – you’ll also have the potential to unlock the chance at receiving the Secret Ending. However, the Secret Ending is locked behind one particular condition – you will need to answer a series of dialogue correctly. The scene in which you’ll want to ensure that you answer correctly is the one when you search the Oil Fields for Johnny’s grave.
Should your interaction during this scene not end well, you’ll significantly damage your chances at receiving the secret ending and will need to rely purely on obtaining at least a 70% friendship percentage with Johnny – which will be challenging.
The correct dialogue needed for this particular scene during the Chippin’ In Side Job can be found below.
- “Let’s do something about that.” Be sure to inscribe Johnny’s initials when prompted.
- “The Guy who Saved My Life”
- “What do you want from me?”
- “OK. But as second chances go, this is your last.”
- “When you said you let down your friends…”
