We’re getting short-time for a number of big 2023 releases, folks. The moon-sized one on the horizon is obviously Starfield, Bethesda’s first new IP in ages. There’s also the giant-robot-sized Armored Core VI, From’s first entry in said series since its Elden Ring GOTY showering. I, for one, am keen to see what all the success, learning (and presumably increased dev budget) will yield for this. I also want to just paint a huge bipedal machine in Eva Unit 01 colours and stomp fools into the dirt. That’d mech my day nicely.
Monster Hunter Rise mixes classic Monster Hunter ideas with some of World’s best improvements and a whole bunch of clever new mechanics of its own. Rise is a thrilling step forward in the series’ evolution toward the new normal World so boldly introduced.
This is looking like a pretty stellar package. The 8 item tier nets you High on Life, The Outer Worlds (plus expansion), Trover Saves the Universe, The Entropy Centre, Journey to the Savage Planet, and Breathedge.
The Ultimate is hands-down 8Bitdo’s best yet. Small changes add up to a noticeably more polished gamepad. While it still feels a tad cheaper than the Xbox Series controllers it cribs its design language from, it also feels like a more complete package.
This is the first real discount I’ve seen for this. That said, while the money off isn’t mind-blowing, I can attest to the control experience being exactly that. I’ve been using the Edge since it launched (on both PS5 and PC). Absolutely love it.
