Walk up to the kid in their hideout and take on the Whack-a-Box challenge.
Whack-a-Box Tips:
- Destroy as many boxes as possible!
- The blue, 1500, boxes require a lot of hits to break.
- Recommend Weapon: Iron Blade to use the Triple Slash move to destroy adjacent 1,500 point blue boxes
- Go up the right ramp ASAP to hit the red time boxes, to add more seconds to the timer. On your way back down, destroy the other boxes.
- Continue forward and to the right.
Whack-a-Box Rewards[edit]
Below are the following rewards:
- Score: 10,000 to get an Elixir
- Score: 20,000 to get a crescent moon charm
- Score: 30,000 to get a Spectral Cogwheel
- Participation prize, each time: Moogle medal
- HP and MP restored
How to Grind for Moogle Medals[edit]
Every time you play Whack-a-Box you get a Moogle Medal! You can score 0 and still get awarded a Moogle Medal. Shout out to participation prizes! Stock up on medals so you can have enough to buy everything in the Moogle Emporium Shop. Be sure to earn extras because there will be more to buy later in the game, using Moogle medals.
