While there are plenty of Dragon Ball Z video games, Kakarot is slightly different in that it combines the arena combat elements with a semi-open world. In a way, the open-world parts are reminiscent of the Yakuza series while the arena fights that make up the combat portions will be familiar with anyone who has played the Dragon Ball Tenkaichi games.IGN reviewed Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and gave it a 7 out of 10 citing how “underneath it all is a game that overflows with nostalgic love for the source material.”
