Well, it’s a particularly notable day for Resi Evil fans. In 2002, the remake train started with a GameCube reimagining of 1996’s Resident Evil. On the same day one year previous, PS2 folks got a taste of Code Veronica—a brilliant entry that was the first to include a real-time 3D environment. I humbly invite Capcom to remake it at their earliest possible convenience. You know what? Let’s just keep the theme going with a bunch of Resi bargains..
The OLED Model’s brighter, more vibrant, and slightly larger screen has made me want to undock it more often – and not just when I am about to travel. I feel more encouraged to lounge around on the couch or even in direct sunlight and play games handheld.
Here’s a historical low percentage on a truly phenomenal game. Hades is a one-of-a-kind rogue-lite that sets the bar for creatively combining wildly different genres together and using their strengths to complement each other in unexpected ways.
Capcom did a fantastic job of resurrecting all the best parts of RE2 and making them look, sound, and play like a 2019 game. If you’re of the mind that the series had lost its way for a while there, this game is very much a return to form. 9/10.
10/10, masterpiece. RE4 is like a parasite-riddled Spaniard: a total no-brainer. Its combat is friction-free but no less stress-inducing thanks to its ferocious cast of creatures, and its story rapidly shuttles through a series of action scenes.
